Today was supposed to be the day I pushed the button to self publish Prometheus Chronicles.
Kindle Direct Publishing and I never got along like good friends, but the relationship was at baseline functional. I made sure my manuscript was formatted to it’s specifications, I abide the template for cover art to the millimeter.
Am i the first human writer to be hamstrung by phantom “error(s)”? This galling little red banner persists.
according to the video, KDP doesn’t play well with your files if there’s a Bowker ISBN. Comments on the above video mention that it also siezes up when you use a Bowker “Imprint”. Go figure. I could have just as much fun sending query letters to get agented and/or picked up by one of the big publishing houses.
